[Gluster-users] Community NetBSD regression tests EOL'd
Gluster Users, Gluster community is deprecating running regression tests for every commit on NetBSD, and in the future continue only build sanity (and handling any build breakages) on FreeBSD. We lack contributors that can help us keep the *BSD infrastructure and functionality up to date and hence are retaining some sanity on FreeBSD (that gluster at least builds on this platform, essentially), and dropping the NetBSD regression tests. We plan to EOL the test runs around end of January, 2018 (or earlier). Regression test runs for all currently supported gluster releases (3.10 till 3.13) will also be EOL'd as a result of this decision. If there are interested contributors who would like to participate and keep this going, do let us know. We can start a conversation around what it would take to keep the lights brighter for gluster in the *BSD world. If you have questions, send to Amye Scavarda <amye at redhat.com> Thanks, Gluster Maintainers
