[Gluster-users] Can a 3.8 fuse client mount a 3.9 volume?
As per the subject. Have created a 3.9 volume in containers, would like to copy some data from a 3.8 volume, but get errors when trying to mount it under 3.8 Thanks, +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ [2016-11-20 01:37:02.554365] I [fuse-bridge.c:5241:fuse_graph_setup] 0-fuse: switched to graph 0 [2016-11-20 01:37:02.554522] I [fuse-bridge.c:4153:fuse_init] 0-glusterfs-fuse: FUSE inited with protocol versions: glusterfs 7.24 kernel 7.23 [2016-11-20 01:37:02.554682] I [MSGID: 108006] [afr-common.c:4425:afr_local_init] 0-gstore1-replicate-0: no subvolumes up [2016-11-20 01:37:02.554872] E [dht-helper.c:1666:dht_inode_ctx_time_update] (-->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/replicate.so(+0x4b15a) [0x7f0caeba115a] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0x33cb9) [0x7f0cae901cb9] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0xa414) [0x7f0cae8d8414] ) 0-gstore1-dht: invalid argument: inode [Invalid argument] [2016-11-20 01:37:02.555163] E [dht-helper.c:1666:dht_inode_ctx_time_update] (-->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/replicate.so(+0x4b15a) [0x7f0caeba115a] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0x33cb9) [0x7f0cae901cb9] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0xa414) [0x7f0cae8d8414] ) 0-gstore1-dht: invalid argument: inode [Invalid argument] [2016-11-20 01:37:02.555194] W [fuse-bridge.c:767:fuse_attr_cbk] 0-glusterfs-fuse: 2: LOOKUP() / => -1 (Transport endpoint is not connected) [2016-11-20 01:37:02.556476] E [dht-helper.c:1666:dht_inode_ctx_time_update] (-->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/replicate.so(+0x4b15a) [0x7f0caeba115a] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0x33cb9) [0x7f0cae901cb9] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0xa414) [0x7f0cae8d8414] ) 0-gstore1-dht: invalid argument: inode [Invalid argument] [2016-11-20 01:37:02.556573] E [dht-helper.c:1666:dht_inode_ctx_time_update] (-->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/replicate.so(+0x4b15a) [0x7f0caeba115a] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0x33cb9) [0x7f0cae901cb9] -->/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glusterfs/3.8.4/xlator/cluster/distribute.so(+0xa414) [0x7f0cae8d8414] ) 0-gstore1-dht: invalid argument: inode [Invalid argument] [2016-11-20 01:37:02.576349] I [fuse-bridge.c:5082:fuse_thread_proc] 0-fuse: unmounting /mnt/pve/gteststore1 The message "I [MSGID: 108006] [afr-common.c:4425:afr_local_init] 0-gstore1-replicate-0: no subvolumes up" repeated 3 times between [2016-11-20 01:37:02.554682] and [2016-11-20 01:37:02.556559] [2016-11-20 01:37:02.576469] W [glusterfsd.c:1286:cleanup_and_exit] (-->/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpthread.so.0(+0x80a4) [0x7f0cb43640a4] -->/usr/sbin/glusterfs(glusterfs_sigwaiter+0xe5) [0x5576024f3a65] -->/usr/sbin/glusterfs(cleanup_and_exit+0x57) [0x5576024f38d7] ) 0-: received signum (15), shutting down [2016-11-20 01:37:02.576484] I [fuse-bridge.c:5793:fini] 0-fuse: Unmounting '/mnt/pve/gteststore1'. -- Lindsay Mathieson
