[Gluster-users] possible memory leak in 3.6.0.29
Hello, I am running a client glusterfs 3.6.0.29 and I am experiencing constant high memory usage, such as 96% of 5GB. Following instructions from http://www.gluster.org/community/documentation/index.php/High_Memory_Usage I tried echo 2 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches and it resulted not to drop memory, so the bug seems to persist. However the related bug as submitted in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1133073 is marked as fixed (but I cannot understand in which version). Is that leak still to be considered a bug? If yes, are there any patches for 3.6? Is it otherwise fixed in 3.7 ? TIA for your support -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... hi Francesco, I can take a look at this if you could give me statedump of the process which is consuming so much memory. If the process consuming so much memory is client process. Please use https://github.com/gluster/glusterfs/blob/master/doc/debugging/statedump.md#how-to-generate-statedump to find out how to generate the statedump files for your process.
