[Gluster-users] option transport.socket.bind-address
Hi, If I set, option transport.socket.bind-address x.x.x.x in glusterd.vol, then rebalance will fail. This old thread is suggesting a patch to solve is: http://www.gluster.org/pipermail/gluster-users/2013-November/014940.html Basically, the problem is that the daemons has localhost hard-coded. Also, the --remote-host option does not help (silently exiting with the rebalance command). I'm using 3.6.2-1, so I'm wondering what the status of this issue is? Cheers, Hans Henrik

We have included various fixes for the bind-address option before, but possibly missed a change for rebalance. You can check the patches that were posted against this bug: - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1149863 We need a new bug for version 3.6, so that we can include the needed patch(es) in the next 3.6 update. - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=GlusterFS&version=3.6.2&component=glusterd Thanks, Niels -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
