The number of bricks value in each tier seem to be incorrect in the proposal. When we start supporting different transport types across hot and cold tiers, we can display the transport type per tier too. -Vijay

Most (all?) management interfaces use "gluster --xml ..." and parse the output. If you have not done so yet, it might be worth talking to (for example) the oVirt people that use it.
