I get the attached error screen in Firefox.

== Diagnosis =
The certificate used by freedesktop.org is signed by CA Cert:
        
 E = support at cacert.org
 CN = CA Cert Signing Authority
 OU = http://www.cacert.org
 O = Root CA

That certificate is not recognised by Firefox, pending audit.  
The audit process is stalled [1] and the perspectives of success in near future
are grim.

== Recommendation =
Consider switching to StartSSL instead. [2]
