freebsd stable - Oct 2017 - Realtek RTL8192EU on FreeBSD 11.1

Hi!

I recently bought a noname usb wifi card to use in my gateway but I fail to get
it to work. It seems to work out of the box on my NanoPI running CURRENT:

root at nanopi:~ # uname -a
FreeBSD nanopi.pean.org 12.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 12.0-CURRENT #0 r320481: Sat Jul  1

I did follow the instructions here:

I have built and installed the modules, and loaded them into kernel:
root at gw:~ # kldstat

but the card is not recognised:

Any pointers to what I could be missing?

Add support for the Realtek RTL8192EU chipset.

At this stage the support is in current but doesn't appear to have been
merged into any releases.
