Thanks, this is undoubtedly my problem. But I can't find a "drm2"
module in my 8.4 source tree. Is it hidden in a port somewhere?
Manually loading drm, iic, iicbb, iicbus, and radeon modules doesn't
seem to get me going; startup still fails with
[ 39318.594] (EE) RADEON(0): [drm] Failed to load kernel module for
pci:0000:01:05.0: No such file or directory
I appreciate your help. -- George
