Hi stable@, cc re@
The jump from 10.1-BETA1 to BETA2, introducing -uefi-,
doubled the possible downloadable images again:

Maybe there was an explanation of -uefi- on a mail list. One can
guess: for [some?] newer machines try uefi. But could we put a more
exact purpose of uefi images in a README ?
The nomenclature of alternate downloadables is not orthogonal,
(less atractive to non FreeBSD people casually sampling) eg:
- bootonly & mini have similar purpose but different names.
- disc1 & dvd1 but no stick1 & bootonly1; we could drop '1'.
(Historicly FreeBSD had disc2 on 4.11 & disc3 on 6.4 & 7.4
& 8.4 but not in 9.2 & 9.3 & 10.0)
A small README on the ftp server in each image directory,
could also be copied to http://www.freebsd.org/where.html
A text suggestion:
-bootonly.iso Minimal CDROM, Can fetch more later.
-disc1.iso Full OS for CDROM.
-dvd1.iso Full OS for DVD, CD data + also ....
-memstick Full OS for USB memory stick.
-mini-memstick Minimal USB, Can fetch more later.
-uefi- ... Add a definition ...
.xz Compressed. Only if you already have a modern FreeBSD
with xz. If you have some other OS, copy a non .xz.
Cheers,
Julian
