I am trying to download 7.0 stable release through cvsup, but it fails. I tried
changing the server, but still get those errors.

If it is FAT, HPFS or NTFS, or a derivative of one of those, it probably doesn't and I suspect that is your problem. Of course I could be very wrong. ;-) Cheers, Nick. --
