freebsd stable - Feb 2006 - HT1000 serial ATA support

Hello everybody,

I bought very nice motherboard SuperMicro H8SSL-i, but onboard serial 
ATA is supported in FreeBSD 6.0 as "Generic", so only UDMA33 is
possible.

I would ask here, what I can do for making this device fully functional 
on full speed.

You may have already tried, but can you set it to a higher speed with
atacontrol? I have never tried this with a SATA drive, so I don't know
if it will help.

The HT1000/2000 chipsets are not supported yet, this has already been 
discussed on the -current list, search for "ServerWorks HT1000 Chipset 
SATA support".
