freebsd stable - Dec 2005 - HEADS-UP: massive soundsystem update in 6-stable

Hi,

I merged most of the updated soundsystem in -current to 6-stable. If
you encounter problems please report on multimedia@ or directly to me
(netchild@FreeBSD.org) *and* ariff@FreeBSD.org. Please include the
output of "cat /dev/sndstat" and the pcm part of "pciconf
-vl" then.

And as UPDATING says: please recompile mplayer (to be able to use
24/32bit) if you use it.
