How did you do the upgrade and which version of FreeBSD you runned before? Cheers, Alexander. I see. To finalize upgrade you need to rebuild your ports in order to get them linked against proper libc (libc.so.6). AFAIR there was change in locale support code which is backward incompatible. All the best, Alexander. Hi!>> Locale not supported by C library, locale unchangedThis is not a specific problem of gnome-terminal. I receive this message also for xfce4, gqview, and etc. Looks like problem appears after updating with 'make world' from 5.4 to 6.0 (in my case). I reinstalled some ports and problem disappeared. -- Yours sincerely, keyhell mailto: keyhell@mail.ru ----------------------------------------------------- FreeBSD - The Power To Serve! here i'm root
