5.4-RC3 Kernel Panic: "vinvalbuf: dirty bufs" (backtrace included)
Hi, Last night when I was asleep my FreeBSD workstation suffered a kernel panic and did a coredump. The panic occurred at 3.02 AM, that is one minute after the start of the daily script (coincidence?). The only "unusual" thing I have been doing before the panic was that I was playing with a 1GB USB Flash memory stick. I found out that in order to create a partition on the device, I need to make it slightly smaller than the maximum suggested by sysinstall (I used sysinstall to partition the device out of pure lazyness). However, I think the panic occurred a couple of hours later and the USB media was not mounted at the time (not 100% sure but I think so), so I don't think it is related but I can be wrong.
