freebsd stable - Mar 2005 - dumpon and gmirror = ioctl(DIOCSKERNELDUMP): Operation not supported

Hi,

I try run dumpon on swap partition in gmirror disk. But that's not 
possible. This error occurs:

# dumpon -v /dev/mirror/datas1b
dumpon: ioctl(DIOCSKERNELDUMP): Operation not supported

It's possible to use dumpon with gmirror disk? Any patch?

No, you cannot dump on GEOM providers such as gmirror's provider,
because GEOM needs context switching.

You can try to dump on one of the mirror components (the one with
the biggest priority).
