freebsd stable - Sep 2004 - xosview broken for 5.3-BETA4 ?

I am running 5.3-BETA4, from Sept. 13th cvsup.

Today I installed xosview:

   $ xosview
   xosview: kvm_nlist() lookup failed for symbol '_intr_countp'.
   xosview: safe_kvm_read() was attempted on EA 0


Any idea what's going wrong here?
