freebsd stable - Aug 2004 - CARP in base system

Hello guys,

I would like to know if it’s planned to put OpenBSD’s CARP
function into the base FreeBSD distribution. For example the
upcoming FreeBSD 5.3.

Approximately in which release will Poul-Henning Kamp’s disk
and device I/O fix will be implemented?

A preliminary ABI change has taken place earlier this month so you can
expect it in future 5-STABLE release.

5.3-R is not likely to be released with this feature, because the release
is imminent.
