Maybe he is using a "refuse" file. Some versions of /usr/share/examples/cvsup/refuse contain the line src/etc/sendmail/freebsd.mc* -bob gray Ruslan Ermilov <ru@freebsd.org> Fri, 07 Nov 2003 16:05:55 +0200 says:>On Fri, Nov 07, 2003 at 01:18:38PM +0100, Bjarne Wichmann Petersen wrote: >[...] >> > But it should be there: >> > $ ident /usr/src/etc/sendmail/freebsd.mc >> > /usr/src/etc/sendmail/freebsd.mc: >> > $FreeBSD: src/etc/sendmail/freebsd.mc,v 1.10.2.18 2003/04/24 16:57>:30 gshapiro Exp $ >> > >> > Try another CVSup mirror? >>=20 >> Ok... Updating collection src-all/cvs Checkout src/etc/sendmail/freebsd.mc Ahh... now I can sleep again. ;) One question though... why would such a line that would cause breakage end up in an file that many (ie. me) will take as a good default? Thanks to all! Bjarne
