Intel is looking for experience FreeBSD or NetBSD developers to develop and deliver drivers for an exciting new I/O technology. This "Open Source Kernel Developer" position will be responsible for FreeBSD and NetBSD development along with direct customer support; this person may also have opportunities to work on various reference code projects. In this position will be working in a lab environment with prototype hardware, as well as have superior teamwork, communication and customer skills. Qualifications: The successful candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 6 - 10 years of experience, or a Masters degree with 5 - 7 year of experience, or equivalent. At least four years experience working on open source kernel level development. Experience working on FreeBSD and/or NetBSD kernels along with a history of contributions to the respective projects would be of huge benefit. Experience working with SAS, SCSI or FC controllers along with PCIe experience would be bonus.
