Yes, but he can't do it. I suppose there are corporate recruiters, they have been known to be interested in job related topics in the past. thanks!- -lance
I think I qualify as one of those "corporatey types." I'm not a headhunter, but am a staffing manager with a company outside of Boston. A couple of our prods have a BSD OS, so I like to stay plugged in to your market. And I do read the emails/posts that come up. It looks like some of the posts that come through are from headhunters. --Steve -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-jobs@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-jobs@freebsd.org]On Behalf Of Magnus B?ckstr?m Ringman Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 2:35 PM To: Atom Smasher Cc: freebsd-jobs@freebsd.org Subject: Re: head-hunters on the list? Whether they are recruiters or not, they are likely to spot credible candidates for openings they know of. Say who you are. The audience is listening :) (I'm just reasoning -- we aren't currently hiring, and I'm not a recruiter. Last we were hiring, this list crossed my mind but the posting would have been too off the 'freebsd' part of the topic.) // B _______________________________________________ freebsd-jobs@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-jobs To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-jobs-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
There is definitely at least one headhunter on this list. I just spotted one the other day a person whom I know from my past. Whether they want to join or not to join is their business, however it can be useful for people looking for opportunities elsewhere in the world.
