places that run FreeBSD (was Re: freebsd-jobs Digest, Vol 36, Issue 1)

I don't think there is a list of places. But see the FreeBSD website's front page and click on the links for software, hardware, consulting, and misc. vendors. Also look at current donations. Here you see examples of people and companies that probably run or ran FreeBSD in some way. Then visit the www.netcraft.com website. And see the "what is that site running?" sections. This is also interesting: http://news.netcraft.com/archives/2003/07/12/nearly_2_million_active_sites_running_freebsd.html Jeremy C. Reed http://bsd.reedmedia.net/

There are several lists of places that run FreeBSD. I doubt if any of them are exhaustive, or even particulary accurate. Please follow up to chat@freebsd.org.
