For those of you who would like to support FreeBSD but can't afford the more expensive official sets, OSDisc.com is selling it for $4.95. 10% of the profits will be donated to the FreeBSD Foundation. http://www.osdisc.com/ http://www.osdisc.com/cgi-bin/view.cgi/donations.html http://www.osdisc.com/cgi-bin/view.cgi/products/bsd/freebsd

Pardon my cynicism, but how do we know that you will make such a donation? There have been several people that have claimed that they will do that only to find out later that the foundation never hears from them... Warner
Hi Warner, I completely understand where you are coming from. All I can really say is, Im more interested in the good will it will create for the company than the extra bit of profit. I have donated code to a few other projects (although most of my projects are abandoned on sourceforge :) , and I have used FreeBSD since 3.4. Our CDs are made using FreeBSD, our webserver runs FreeBSD. Personally, im not interested in pissing-off the FreeBSD community. P.S. Thanks for the CC (I dont check my email from the mailing list that often) Best Regards, Ramsey Brenner OSDisc.com Founder

We'll make the first donation at the end of the next quarter (since this one is over in about 10 days).> Finally, it isn't anything personal.Never thought it was :) Best Regards, Ramsey Brenner OSDisc.com Founder
