Dear Fontconfig Representative, I am trying to solve a build problem, I describe it at http://theitdepartment.wordpress.com/2009/03/15/centos-qt-fcfreetypequeryface/ -- please see the messages 6, 7 by Newqtcoder. How could I install fontconfig-2.6.0 or fontconfig-2.4.2 on my Red-Hat RHEL5? When I look over the Internet people always say about running ./configure, which apparently I can''t make. Best regards, Tim

I *think* I got it from: http://fontconfig.org/release/fontconfig-2.6.0.tar.gz Give it a try. I''ve got a vague recollection of having also found a fontconfig-2.6.0 source distro that did *not* include a configure script - perhaps that came from the git repository (not sure). Cheers, Rob
