Hi, I am a new in a usage of fontconfig. I use GNOME2.2 stack and I want to install my bdf font file. I have same problem to install this font permamently . Now I used xset fp+. I found the font.conf file which have a section <dir> in it could be define a directory path where the server search for fonts. My question is: Could help me anybody how I can add in this file a new directory <dir> ... </dir> using a command line, not edit manually. I want that at make install the path where the font file installed to be added in fonts.conf file. Thank you very much. Best Regards Paul Sprencz
