AFAICT, 2.2.99 is strictly superior to the 2.2 branch, and fixes quite a few nasty bugs. However, several distributions generally deprecate shipping development versions, so it would be nice to have a 2.3.0 release. Oh, and cheers for the conf.d stuff that just got in CVS, much appreciated. John Thacker -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I was planning on shipping that today unless someone finds a show-stopping (i.e. security related) bug. -keith -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I plan on doing that work within the 2.4 development period. -keith -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Hi, I was thinking whether it would make sense to move the _fcConfig to a shared memory segment and have it shared between all the applications linking with libfontconfig? I''m "losing" 1.3 second of my desktop startup to repeated FcInit() calls. Br, --jakub
