[Fedora-xen] Installing F9 on F8 under kvm - DHCP segfaults
Very strange error -- I''m not sure whether it''s Fedora rawhide, KVM, libvirt or what is causing this. Host is F8, up to date but with a rather old KVM-36. Guest is Fedora rawhide (F9) downloaded today, i386 and x86-64. i386 guest installs OK. x86-64 guest segfaults early in the install process, as you can see from the screenshot below. # rpm -qf /lib/modules/2.6.23.8-63.fc8/kernel/drivers/kvm/kvm-amd.ko kernel-2.6.23.8-63.fc8 # rpm -q kvm kvm-36-7.fc8 # uname -a Linux amd.home.annexia.org 2.6.23.8-63.fc8 #1 SMP Wed Nov 21 17:56:40 EST 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Rich. -- Emerging Technologies, Red Hat - http://et.redhat.com/~rjones/ Registered Address: Red Hat UK Ltd, Amberley Place, 107-111 Peascod Street, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 1TE, United Kingdom.
