Re: [Fedora-xen] Fwd: Error: Error connecting to xend: No such file or directory. Is xend running?
It seems due to a mismatch between the xen kernel version they''ve rolled in the latest FC5 and the Xen user utilities. However, having upgraded now to the new xen and libvirt packages, it still doesn''t work, and reverting to 2.6.17-1.2157_FC5xen0 does _not_ fix the problem. I now have a machine which can''t boot any of its slices. I will test more xen and libvirt packages if they can be made available. I''ve got about 24 hours before I''ll need to chicken out and either find the old packages on a stale mirror somewhere, or restore from tape. Matt

Same as mine. Hm! I wish I had more time to figure this one out. Hi, still found some clue for an explanation (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=211745) about that message. It seems the used xen patch in the src.rpm rely on Xen 3.0.3... Probably a stressed guy mistake ;-) Think we should wait for next release. Guillaume Le mardi 24 octobre 2006 à 21:10 +0800, Adrian Chadd a écrit :> Same as mine. Hm!
