I followed the Fedora Xen Quickstart for FC5 (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraXenQuickstartFC5)and when I booted got a message saying (approximately): Kernel panic on CPU 0 IO + APIC + timer doesn''t work...try booting with the noapic option But I was already using the noapic option. I am running on a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ AM2. Any help would be appreciated. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Found the problem -- options were on the wrong line in grub.conf file. --- George Hill <e1geo@yahoo.com> wrote:> I followed the Fedora Xen Quickstart for FC5 >(http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraXenQuickstartFC5)and> when I booted got a message saying (approximately): > > Kernel panic on CPU 0 > IO + APIC + timer doesn''t work...try booting with > the > noapic option > > But I was already using the noapic option. > > I am running on a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ AM2. > > Any help would be appreciated. > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
