[Fedora-xen] Installing a different distribution as guest
Hi list How do I install a different distribution as a guest/domU on Fedora core 5 dom0? I just want to install ubuntu or debian sarge onto a lvm partition. Is there anyone out there with at working approach? I''ve tried a debootstrap for Fedora etc. but I get errors that chroot doesn''t work. I''ve also tried to make a boot partition, but then I get kernel panic. I use the 64 bit FC5 edition, maybe that''s my trouble? Thanks Lars

I''ve used rpmstrap to get a bare-minimum CentOS version installed, then booted into it and used yum as normal to get the other stuff I wanted installed. http://mark.foster.cc/wiki/index.php/Centos-4_on_Xen
