dtrace discuss - Jan 2010 - status/workarounds of cwd (etc) on Mac OS X?

Looking around on the web, I haven''t seen any solution to the
problem of Mac OS X DTrace providing only the last element of
the path in cwd.  Is this still the case?  If so, has anyone
come up with a workaround?  Inquiring minds need to know...
