[dtrace-discuss] Talking about cool things you do with Dtrace on OSDevCon2008
Hi DTracers, Last year''s OpenSolaris Developer Conference in Berlin had Thomas Nau from Germany talking about how he uses dtrace in his daily life[1]. It was a very nice and enlightening talk (maybe basic for some people) and I''d like to get something similar for this year''s conference in Prague[2]. It looks like over the past year many applications have been enriched by adding probes into them, but as cool as it sounds, it is even cooler if you show others how you actually use the probes in reality and which problems you solve by them. So if you know somebody who wants to talk about dtrace probes in sh, mysql, postgresql, java, <add_your_own_app_here>, ... please talk to him or talk to me so that I can talk to him, the paper submission deadline closes soon... The URL to remember is http://www.osdevcon.org thanx for your time, and hope to see some of you in Prague, Martin [1] http://www.osdevcon.org/2007/slides/OSDevCon_Berlin_200307_DTrace.pdf [2] http://www.osdevcon.org -- There are no bad questions, only bad answers... -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I have no clue whether my paper has been accepted or not, though. Thanks, Roman.
