[dtrace-discuss] List of DTrace probes/provides in libc ?
Hi Roland,> Is there anywhere a list of DTrace probes/provides which are supported > by libc ?As with any other user-land library, DTrace can dynamically instrument libc down to individual instructions via the ''pid'' provider. For example, to see a list of which function entry points can be instrumented in libc of pid 1234: #dtrace -l -n pid1234:libc::entry Let me know if you had something else in mind. Jon.

[dtrace-discuss] [osol-code] List of DTrace probes/provides in libc ?
> Is there anywhere a list of DTrace probes/provides which are supported > by libc ?Erm.. only the list provided by the dtrace(1M) command itself: # dtrace -n *$$:libc::,pid$$:libc:: -l On my system there were about 350,000 probes. Currently libc only has the plockstat USDT provider and, of course, may be instrumented by the pid provider. Adam -- Adam Leventhal, FishWorks http://blogs.sun.com/ahl
