After I working the whole day, it''s 8 p.m. in my country now. I feel tied, but an idea hits me. I write the following, simple, script -bash-3.00# cat all.d ::: /pid == $1/ {} and run it using the command, "time dtrace -s all.d 1862", Then the endless infomation appears on my screen. The process 1862 is sshd. It''s one of the processes create by the deamon process sshd after I logged in. After running 1 minutes, the dtrace prcess is killed suddenly. The prompt message is: dtrace: processing aborted: Abort due to systemic unresponsiveness real 1m14.399s user 0m0.963s sys 0m15.666s What does this message mean? Why does it say unresponsiveness? btw, I use prstat to watch the processes information at the same time. The average CPU usage is 8%, and the peak rate is about 21%. Regards! TJ
