The Wall Street Journal also recognized, as a runner-up in the Energy and Power innovations category, the UltraSPARC(R) T1 with CoolThreads(TM) technology, as the world''s first eco-responsible processor. DTrace was singled out for its breakthrough, realtime approach to troubleshooting production systems, shortening problem identification time from days or weeks to hours or even minutes and real-world application performance improvements of up to 30x.
