Trying to do a simple dtrace of ts_enterclass:entry, using S10 03/05, and getting the following response... # dtrace -n ''fbt::sys_enterclass:entry{trace(execname)}'' dtrace: invalid probe specifier fbt::sys_enterclass:entry{trace(execname)}: "/usr/lib/dtrace/procfs.d", line 312: cl_name is not a member of struct list Any clues? Thanks, Jim

Yes, I''ve just discovered the same thing. I''ve got a lab system, which I just added an IDR patch to, and all Dtrace is giving me this error. I have taken the patch off, and it works again. [dtrace-discuss] cl_name is not a member of struct list
This is probably due to a patch with incorrectly generated CTF data. You may be able to temporarily work around the problem by using -x nolibs. Please file a bug. Hi Could I get a list of the patches you have applied ( ie ''patchadd -p'' output ) Possibly a bad patch installed As i have a fully patched Solaris 10 box and don''t see this problem Enda Adam Leventhal wrote:>This is probably due to a patch with incorrectly generated CTF data.
