Your output looks like iptables -L -n. Can you add the -v option to 
check if the rule did handle packages?

Hi,

Means  that  the  Dovecot  (server1)  doesn't  "communicate" with
the
Dovecot (server2) ...
They both are on the same subnet  ...
...
