dovecot - May 2011 - alternative storage taken from sql

I'm looking for a simple way to define alternative storage (ALT parameter in
mail_location)
from userdb query.
dovecot v2

Is there a simple way to handle this ?

The ALT parameter is part of mail_location, so you need to override the entire
mail_location. There are many examples how to do that in the wiki, e.g.
