dovecot - Oct 2009 - protocol configure confusion

The docs say:

So if I want to run both imap and imaps AND configure the port, do I do:

#   *protocol* imap {
#     listen = *:143
#     ssl_listen = *:10943
#   }

OR

#   *protocol* imap {
#     listen = *:143
#   }
#   *protocol* imaps {
#     listen = *:993
#   }
