crossbow discuss - Oct 2009 - Connection Throttling?

Hiyas all,

I''m wondering since i didn''t found it in the docs, or
i''m blind.
Is it possible with Crossbow to limit the connection rates?
like say i don''t want to have more then 20 tcp connections per second
on port 12345?

Hi,

Actually we don''t have that feature. We have B/W limits on total rates
but not on CPS rates. Based on our architecture, its easily doable
by controlling the rate of SYN packets (will fit flowadm pretty well).
Do you mind opening an RFE on http://defect.opensolaris.org/
