I don''t know if the next update to NWAM will fix this. The workaround I use it to manually run a script after reboot which does /sbin/dladm up-aggr /sbin/dladm up-vlan /sbin/dladm up-vnic /sbin/dladm init-linkprop -w Erik> > Cheers, > Jim > > Gary Bainbridge wrote: >> If you want to use Crossbow then you can''t have nwam running >> otherwise after a reboot none of the virtual devices created will >> show under ''dladm show-link'', although they continue to work; you >> just can''t see them. >> >> I have to disable nwam and enable physical for Crossbow to >> persistently display devices across reboots. > > _______________________________________________ > crossbow-discuss mailing list > crossbow-discuss at opensolaris.org > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/crossbow-discuss
NWAM currently does not bring up VNICs/etherstubs, see 6776009 (nmaw doesn''t bring up pseudo data-links at boot time.) The next version of NWAM is addressing this issue, and there''s an effort in progress to integrate the fix separately sooner. Nicolas.
