I''d find it more dynamic and fair to have each of the core contributors
above send out their list of proposed core contributors (which will likely
overlap but not be identical to the list above), then have someone
aggregate the proposals and grant core contributor status to everyone
getting 3 or more "+1" votes.  This is roughly what the tools
community
did and it seemed effective.

Guys,

I agree with the direction but to keep things a bit more objective,
can each of us send a list with few lines for each person proposed.
This is for the core list. We don''t have fixed guidelines but
in general people contributing code, awareness, discussions,
basic evangelism etc are great and we should definitely add
them to contributors list.

For core contributors, the work done (in making this community
successful and thrive) needs to be a bit more tangible but I will leave
it to the core members to apply their judgement.

Also, for all members of networking community - you can always
propose yourselves or ask one of the current core members to
propose your name.

I agree with this.  This list is not intended to be comprehensive, but
rather to provide some backstory for my nominations.

  * James Carlson: lead for DAD, rbridges, DHCPv6.  Broad and thorough
    knowledge of the stack and interplay with other technologies.
  * Eric Cheng: deep knowledge of GLDv3, especially control path.
  * Renee Danson: lead for NWAM.
  * Nicolas Droux: core architect for Crossbow; core architect for
    link aggregation; deep knowledge of GLDv3.
  * Erik Nordmark: deep knowledge throughout the stack, especially
    IP and sockets.  Lead for IP datapath refactoring.
  * Sebastien Roy: co-lead for Clearview; architect of a number of

Its done now.

Thanks for double checking. Like I said before, we can add more core
contributors anytime (including Cathy and Eric and perhaps few others 
like Sangeeta who is the lead for ilb and some in crossbow team) but
instead of doing it piece meal, I was hoping to look at the projects and
people doing them before adding more names. And I was also hoping to
finish the contributors list which would show us the working set.
