[crossbow-discuss] dladm delete-vnic (last one) breaks physical link
(reposting to crossbow, sorry if you got duplicates) I am not sure if this is reported, cause I am not sure how to search for this. I am hoping that someone here will know what I mean by this. We just installed nvx105 and I was playing with vnic''s. iml-v40z-4# dladm create-vnic -l bge0 vnic0 .. here you can plumb/up/dhcp/etc have fun, down/unplumb.. iml-v40z-4# dladm delete-vnic vnic0 Once I delete the vnic, my bge0 connection stops working. From what I can tell, its no longer "listening" to arp replies. I can see the arp response in snoop, but it keeps asking (who is x.x.x.x). If I create another vnic, it starts working again, delete it, it stops working. I can get around it by re-plumbing bge0. Is this a known issue? Thanks in advance, ~tommy
