Hi Roshan,
Are you using Open Solaris 2008.05 ? You cannot bfu on Open Solaris
2008.05.
You need to use SXCE. ( Solaris Express Community Edition -
http://opensolaris.org/os/downloads/ ) if you are doing a BFU.
Or you could also install the Crossbow ISO from
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/snapshots/
Note that the bins and the ISO are a bit old. The crossbow team will be
releasing the new bits soon.
Open Solaris 2008.05 uses ZFS as the root file system. So you are
getting that error.
