The crossbow team is excited to announce the availability of the 
project''s new
Beta pre-release. SPARC-based and x86-based bfu archives of snv_81 as 
well as
DVD iso images and draft man pages are ready for download from
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/snapshots/

Many new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements are included in
this release. For details, see What''s Hot and What''s New in
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/pre-release/

In addition, new and enhanced examples and use cases are described
in http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/Docs/getting-started/
This release is also bundled with a new Web-based
administration tool from the Virtual Networking Machine
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/vnm/

A bit delayed but now the sources for this pre-release are also posted 
under snapshots (See netvirt-src-20080213.tar.bz2 in the table in 
snapshots page at http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/snapshots/).

You can also browse them using OpenGrok. Choose netvirt for the project 
and you can happily browse them.

Does this include interrupt distribution across multiple CPUs, either
automatically for
multiple TCP connections, or for VNIC(s) or flow(s)?

MSI-X support is implemented in nxge, but not yet in xge in this release.
The nxge driver implements per-ring interrupts, so each VNIC that has 
exclusive hardware ring group will have its own interrupt(s). For those 
VNIC  built on top of multiple rings, multiple TCP connections over this 
VNIC will be distributed to multiple CPUs if available.
