CentOS - Feb 2021 - ssh pubkey login from root@linux to administrator@windows

Hallo,
I try to configure a ssh login with public key login from windows to root.
Login work when entering the password but using a public key doesn t work.
I m using win10 an the MS ssh server addon.
root should login as administrator. I read and tried out several  
tutorial but without success.
Next problem is that I can t find any logfiles to analyze for hint.
