The problem is not only the announce and decision of RH, but also the unfortunate PR of CentOS, how could you ask trust and confidence with something like that:> If you are using CentOS Linux 8 in a production environment, and areconcerned that CentOS Stream will not meet your needs, we encourage you to contact Red Hat about options.
