I notice that the OO that comes with CentOS 4.4 is version 1.1.5, which is fairly ancient. Are there any plans to update this for OO 2.2, or 2.1, or 2.0? Or is this a RH thing exclusively? In which case is CentOS Plus likely to get a more recent version? OO 2.0 is way better.... In which case > is CentOS Plus likely to get a more recent version? > > OO 2.0 is way better?. >Nothing prevents you to install Openoffice.org 2.0 rpms on your CentOS 4.4 .. that's what i did quite a lot ... they integrate perfectly (don't forget to install the desktop-integration rpm sitting in a subfolder in the oo archive) Be aware also that CentOS5 will contain OO 2.0.4 directly
