[Centos] Search functionality in the CentOS list archive database
Hello. Is there a mean to search through the emails sent to this list in the archive ? I did not find this link and this would be very useful as the information through this list is very helpful, and there are more answers than with the centOS forums. Thanks, Daniel -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.caosity.org/pipermail/centos/attachments/20050319/6cb452fe/attachment.htm

We are seeing some very strange errors and hope that someone out there has seen this before and has an idea of how to overcome .. Upgrading from RH9 to CentOS 3.4 on a IBM Netfinity 5000 After booting to disk 1 of the CD set we enter "linux upgradeany" and it starts the boot process and gets to Uncompressing Linux .... Invalid Compressed Format (err=2) --System Halted Now we thought it could be a bad CD burn so we burned again .. same error .. Then we thought maybe it was the media type so we burned on a different media .. Same error .. Help! BRW

How about installing a different CD-ROM drive? Does the CD check out on _the_ machine which is being upgraded? [Centos] Search functionality in the CentOS list archive database
Hi. Thanks for this link, Chris. It comes very useful, and powerful. I suggest CentOS webmaster to include that link on the site, that will help a lot of people for sure. It is even not necessary to developp a new search function with that one..
