I use the cd-rom upgrade method to migrate a FC2 machine running squid to Centos 4. The migration went smoothly and the machine resumed normal functions after the upgrade. However, minor problems still exist as follows: 1. the Grub boot up screen still show "Fedora Core 2 kernel.x.x. " when boot up 2. when I check the version using pico /etc/*release* displayed "Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang)" 3. yum update command failed as the yum.conf still using fedora core 2 yum list and I can''t find a Centos 4 yum.conf anywhere Anyone knows how to solve the problems?
