I need the madwifi driver for my Atheros-based card. Does anyone have it compiled for Centos? Or know where I can get it? Will the compile be different for 3.3, 3.4, and 4.0?
Yes it will be since it depends on the kernel you are running. but it''s makefile care about it and compile clean on both. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Spieth" <mspieth@teamcmi.com> To: "CentOS discussion and information list" <centos@caosity.org> Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 10:25 PM Subject: Re: [Centos] madwifi for Centos> Yes it will be since it depends on the kernel you are running. > > On Wed, 2005-03-02 at 15:18, Robert Moskowitz wrote: >> I need the madwifi driver for my Atheros-based card. >> >> Does anyone have it compiled for Centos? Yes but I don''t think you can have 1 RPM that will work for 3.3,3.4 and 4.0 On Wed, 2005-03-02 at 15:33, Farkas Levente wrote:> but it''s makefile care about it and compile clean on both. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mark Spieth" <mspieth@teamcmi.com> > To: "CentOS discussion and information list" <centos@caosity.org> > Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 10:25 PM > Subject: Re: [Centos] madwifi for Centos > > > > Yes it will be since it depends on the kernel you are running. > > > > On Wed, 2005-03-02 at 15:18, Robert Moskowitz wrote: > >> I need the madwifi driver for my Atheros-based card. > >> > >> Does anyone have it compiled for Centos? kernel modules are always kernel dependent, so it''s even different for kernel updates in 3.4 (and of course different for 3.4 and 4.0).
